Location finder in Facebook

I have always been able to use the check in facility in Facebook but for the last few weeks it just tells me 'Acquiring your location' and it never does.  What do I need to do to get this to work again?

Thanks for the question.


I would check to make sure your GPS settings are enabled: 


  1. From the homescreen, select the Universal Search icon
  2. Type Location Services
  3. Select Options
  4. Select Location Settings
  5. Ensure Location Data is set to Enabled

Also restart the BlackBerry smartphone and then try to use Facebook Places.
