Locked out of Torch 9800

Hi all,

I've been locked out of my Blackberry Torch 9800, I'm 100% sure I'm putting the right code in as it worked this morning and I've had the same password for months. I'm now on my final attempt and don't want any information to be erased - any ideas?!

Re: Locked out of Torch 9800

Hey ellyh,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

When entering your password into the BlackBerry Torch 9800 Smartphone, please make sure you are holding the [ALT] key for each number that is being entered.

Also, you can enter the password into BlackBerry Desktop Software from a PC or Mac to unlock the BlackBerry Torch 9800 Smartphone.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
