I was locked out of my account while trying to reset my password. I clicked the "forgot password" link, entered my secret question correctly.
I followed the link to reset my password that was emailed to me.
I then got a generic error saying there was a problem processing your request after trying to give it a new password. It didn't say that my new password was too short, or the confirmation didn't match or that my secret question was wrong. All it gave me was an error.
After a few attempts I got some message in Spanish? Why is the interface in English and an error message in Spanish? The messaged seemed to be that I was now locked out of my account.
And of course my account is now locked out. What an awful password reset system. How am I supposed to reset my password now?
My phone is a Bold 9700 with OS version 188.8.131.520(Bundle 1149, Platform 184.108.40.206)
with Wind Mobile in Canada
App world version 220.127.116.11

If you are still experiencing this issue with BlackBerry App World, send me a private message with your BlackBerry PIN (from Options -> Status) and the email address you used to sign up and I will investigate for you.

I'm also getting locked out when trying to either log-in with the correct username/password. Or when I try to reset the password.
This has been going on for several days and I'm absolutely frustrated. Especially when I'm trying to log-in with my correct information.
Trust me it's not all the users; it's RIM that has created this problem.

I had the same problem. It says I am locked out for 120 minutes which was many hours ago. I used the right password and the reset gave me the error message as well.

hello, I have been having the same problem as everyone else and it locks me out for 120 minutes.... can you please help me? because this is very frustrating....

Hello, I am on day 4 of the same issues. Except the foreign language I get appears to be german Please help me get this figured out. Seems my issue stemmed from a mandatory update by my service provider. This update caused all saved info on bb app world to be washed out. Thank You Tricia
