Re: Locking Out the GPS feature

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Are the devices on a BES server? New IT Policies for BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1

" Device GPS  Determines whether or not an application can access the device Global Positioning System (GPS) application programming interface (API).

If they are not on a BES and they are your company phones, I'm sure you could get a vendor to add an IT policy.

Call these folks, they are well respected with our users: Horizon Wireless Online.

Thanks,
