Log in problems to Google Maps

Since about March, the Google Maps app (4.5.3) in my Blackberry Bold 9700 device was signed out of my Google account, thus leaving my starred places and latitude friends out of sight; however, the maps and my location are still available.

Now, every time I try to log in, it prompts "You have logged into your Google account...", and seconds later it changes from "into" to "out of".

Everything is normal when I log in through my computer.

I hope this issue is solved very soon by our friends in Google

You are not alone:

It seems to now be a problem definitely at Google or at BlackBerry...as such, formal support escalation from your carrier support to BlackBerry is what would be needed.
