Logging In to BIS Trouble

I want to change my filters for my Curve so that I stop receving duplicate Gmail messages that I send. When I try to create an account online, I am told that there is already an account for my PIN. When I ask for the password to be sent to my email account, I am told that I need to go online with my BB and create a new account. So I am told that I have an account and that I need to create one, which makes no sense at all so far.

Where do I go with the BB to create this account?

1. Login through your BB the first time at the Personal Email setup icon.

  1. Click Services and Settings.

  2. Click Create User Name.

  3. The BlackBerry Internet Service subscriber will be prompted with a screen stating that this is a permanent change. This change will allow access using a computer browser as well as the BlackBerry smartphone. Type a valid username and password.

  4. The BlackBerry Internet Service subscriber may then log in to the service provider specific web site using the username and password to access the BlackBerry Internet Service account from a computer browser. Navigate to the service provider web site or go the Email Setup page. In the Get started from your computer section, select a Region and then click the service provider.
