I am a new owner of a Bold. It is an unlocked version bought in Dubai, I live in Saudi Arabia and so far have just been using my SA providers SIM card. I haven't been home yet to sign up for any of the services.
I did manage to connect to the internet using the Dubai hotels hotspot in the lobby, but I have one problem. I logged on using my room number but the logout page which is a java page on my laptop does not work on my bold, I click on "logoff the internet" and nothing happens. It also does not show the countdown clock which, to me, means that there is no java on the Bold. Now I'm in my room and I had to call the hotels IT people to log me off so I could get back onto the internet using my laptop.
Along the same lines I can't seem to find a way to shut off music other than pause or stop the song, but the music application stays open. This is not a big deal, but not being able to log out of my ISP or wifi connection is a problem.
Where is the answer button?
