I have a blackberry curve 9320 and for the last few days have been having serious issues with it. I am on pay as you go with vodafone and am currently subscribed to blackberry internet services which give me access to emails bbms and appworld. it doesnt give me acces to internet use. until now i havent had an issue where i have lost credit, but now im losing a lot of credit. vodafone tells me it is data charges for use of internet on my phone, but i dont use the internet on my phone. any posible way of stopping my phone connecting to the internet on its own. or does anyone know what it is connecting to as my gpr location is off. PLEASE PLEASE HELP

Sorry to hear about your issue , But apart from Internet BBM and BlackBerry World itself uses Data are you sure it is not the cause .

Are you sure your Carrier allow unlimited user access to BBM , Email , Facebook , BlackBerry World and whatsapp within this £5 package ?
If they don’t then it might be the reason for access data charges , because those application uses data packets and it depends how heavy user you’re . Also do you stream videos like YouTube on your device ? If you’re then it’s definitely the reason for access data charges.
Your device will never connect to internet automatically unless you use it . But the above apps will consume data .
If you’re concerned about those charges then while at night you can turn off your Data Services , HomeScreen > Manage Connection > Mobile Network > Data Services > Turn off at night when not using any such applications.
