Lost all my 3rd party applications when I switched my OS

Hello, last night I switched my OS for my bb bold 9000 for att from 5.0 back to 4.6 because the application memory was always extremely low and the phone was generally slow. During the process, I got a notification that a fatal error had occured and that I needed to use the backup file that was created. I was able to successfully restore from the file but all of my 3rd party downloads were missing including themes, fb, uber twitter, etc. This morning, I switched back to the 5.0 os and used the same restore file but they still are not there. Any ideas/suggestions?

You'll need to download and reinstall them.

 

For Facebook, from your BlackBerry browser, go to www.blackberry.com/facebook

 

If you installed any paid-for apps from AppWorld, they should be listed in your AppWorld again once you've entered your PayPal account info.

That's what I was afraid of but shouldn't be too big of a problem. I already did recover a theme that I did purchase from app world by logging in. Thanks for the reply, JSanders.

The upside is, that fresh reinstall of apps when moving from OS 4.6 to 5.0, or reverse, is wise anyway, as some app have different versions for OS 4.6, and another for 5.0.
