I had purchased BlackBerry 9300 instrument from Dubai ( Dealer Code No. DA0049891/10.) I had now lost or its stolen. I complained about this and asked at email@example.com to look into the matter and help me by blocking or de-activating the instrument. I had given them the IMEI No.<Personal Content Removed>also. Unfortunatively they have refused to co-operate and informed about their inability to do so.
May I request some responsible person fro BlackBerry co. to help me get the mobile blocked or deactivated completely.
Hope that somebody will help me in this respect !!!!!!!
Thanking all ........................... Garde (eagalite)

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please refer to this helpful thread:
Second, when you registered to this site, you should have been presented with information telling you that this forum is not a channel by which to seek anything formal from RIM whatsoever. Rather, this is a user-to-user community of volunteers trying to help each other out...it is not a user-to/from-RIM channel for any communication or escalation. Consequently, what you have done is to reveal, in this completely PUBLIC site, personal information about yourself and your device, which could leave you open to persons with evil intent...fortunately, our Mods are very good and quick about redacting such information.
So, to conclude, this site is not your escalation path. Rather, your escalation path remains with the entities you are already dealing with. Hopefully, you had one of the FREE security measures on your BB to protect the data thereon...after all, the BB itself is a commodity...the data is priceless.
