Lost my BB Bold

I've just lost my BB Bold. So what to do next? Can I block my PIN No so that others can't read my data? My concern now is all the data in my phone. I have changed my email password and also all messengers. Can people still access my data using other SIM card? Please help me......I'm lost now. Thanks

Re: Lost my BB Bold

Did you have a password set to protect the device? If so, no worries, the finder can't view anything and after the 10th incorrect password attempt it will wipe itself of all personal information, email, calendar, etc. It will still be usable with another SIM card.

Call your carrier and report it lost. Not all carriers will lock the PIN/IMEI, some will.

Hopefully, you had a backup of your BlackBerry and will be able to restore information to a new device from that .

Re: Lost my BB Bold

Hi JSanders. Unfortunately I didn't set a password for my device, only for my card. I've tried to call the carrier but they were able to block my card only. And yes I did backup my data.

So, If I have changed the passwords to all my Email accounts, can they still use my Email account from the device? How bout Facebook? Because the Facebook is directly link to the device like the Emails. Thanks for the info.

Hello and welcSmiley Happyme to the fSmiley Happyrums!

I woud change my facebook password and that will stop the notifications coming in . If you have changed your email passwords, I don't think they will be able to use your email.

Yes, they likely can use your accounts... until you have changed the passwords on those accounts, then you will be good.

Good luck.
