MAJOR ERROR DURING BACKUP

I was backing up my blackberry torch 9800 to my computer when it suddenly shutdown. While trying to start the computer back up it told me that i had to do a system restore otherwise it wouldnt start, so I did that. When it booted up again  my blackberry desktop app was gone from the computer, also some of my applications are missing off of my berry.. is there any way to fix this?
