MMS with 8330

I just bought a Blackberry 8330 and when I send someone an mms with a pic from phone they do not receive the message.  Does anyone know why that happens?  Is the Blackberry not compatible with other carriers/phones in that area for some reason?

Just today, I sent a friend an MMS with a jpg I had saved to my bb.  No problems on either end.

I wonder...did you sign up for Verizon's text and picture messaging services?  Verizon may have to activate the feature.

So far, I have found Verizon's tech support people to be very good and encourage you to call them.
