Major Problem with Bold 9790

Hi, I am sick and tired of my Bold 9790. It keeps switching off / rebooting every second minute...Does not read the SD card, not allowing me to save any pictures/videos, keep getting a error message 'Uncaught exception: java lang. illegal Argument Exception', I have uploaded the latest official S/W version, done a complete security wipe and reinstaled the data but the problem still persist. Don't really know what to do with my phone??????!!!!!

My phone is under warranty, though the silver rim is slightly damaged, service centre guys are refusing to accept my phone. They are INSISTING that I first get the case changed for Rs.4950 if I need to get my instrument checked under warranty. This is sheer blackmail and a good way to make money.

The problem for sure is NOT because of the damaged rim, its more to do with the hardware. I met atleast 5 such users at the service centre with the same problem.

Do let me know if anyone else is facing similar issues with the phone.

I have been using BB for past 7 years, guess its time to move on to Samsung or Apple.

Re: Major Problem with Bold 9790

I unfortunately cannot suggest anything as I haven't experienced this problem before, nor have I owned a 9790. No, it is not time to "move on to Samsung or Apple", I could give many reasons why the BlackBerry Z10 has numerous better features than both "Samsung and Apple".
