Major Sync Issues with Desktop

After doing a software upgrade to my Apple MAC my computer will no longer sync with my Bold 9650. It runs through the whole program but at the very end comes back with an error message that it was unable to sync. Verizon had me "wipe" my Bold but the exact problem remains. Information on the Smartphone does not include anything added to the contacts or calendar. What do I do?
