Maps Application

I know this is me being lazy and starting a new thread without searching but today me and my friend were prancing down the street, me with my bb9900 and my friend with his iphone 4S... basically we had an argument about which maps are better... and i lost... does anyone know any free map applications for bb that are as good if not better than iphone maps...

Thanks in advance,

Drew (smiley face)

Re: Maps Application

Hi there,

As I'm sure you've already guessed, "as good if not better" is a totally subjective evaluation. Each human is unique, with their own set of desires and needs. Further, each human is most efficient with the tools to which they become the most accustomed. Hence, trying to tell you, for your purposes, what would be better than what your friend had would be like trying to convince me that vanilla is better than chocolate -- not gonna happen, but for someone else, it may well be the case.

In any event, the most useful, from my experience, was Google Maps. I have used that all over the world and it has helped me immensely, even in China. But, is it "better" than what your friend had? I really can't say. Only you and your friend can make that judgement.

Good luck!
