Maps Favorites File disappeared

I had many items saved in my Maps Favorites but that folder disappeared and I can find it.  When I click on "Favorites" in the Map setting, the "Favorites" in the "Layers" has been replaced by a "Recent."  I don't know what I did.  I'm looking for my old "Favorites" folder.  Thanks.

Re: Maps Favorites File disappeared

OS is operating system... he's asking if you've updated it on your Blackberry.

Re: Maps Favorites File disappeared

I have experienced that in upgrading the Operating System on the device the favorites in BBMaps and Google Maps will clear.

Re: Maps Favorites File disappeared

Thanks.  I'll try it although I have to figure out how to update the OS.  I look forward to seeing if that will resolve the problem.

Unbelieveable!  Upgrading the OS restored all my Map functions.  Thanks to all.

Re: Maps Favorites File disappeared

I know what is an OS, I know how to update, and I'm an IT expert.

I did nothing, not even a software install.

My Apollo suddenly deleted all my map favorites and restored the ones I deleted almost 1 month ago.

I really don't understand how you guys call such a junk phone a business phone...?

I also keep deleting my sms messages, the reason given by RIM is because it's trying to keep memory clean to ensure the phone working fast enough. But the problem is the phone is out of box is already slow, then why you still deleting my sms messages? What kind of junk phone deletes my private messages without my confirmation Smiley Frustrated

I'll buy an android soon...

Re: Maps Favorites File disappeared

Well, I had the same issue but in the favorite panel only the first favorite (of 200 I had) was spared from erase. I DON'T GET THIS! I didn't do an OS upgrade (and do not have upgrades available at the moment) and I'm running OS 7.1 on Bold 9900. I did a battery pull and after then THE MESS IN MY MAPS!

Anyone?
