I tried to send out a message to all of my old contacts to notify them of my new number and got a message that there were too many recipients. I called At & T and checked the Blackberry Bold support manual and neither of them had information on what is the maximum. I used to be able to send out 100 on my Blackberry 7100. How many can be sent with the Bold?

Hi and welcome to the forums!
I highly doubt there is a definitive number. The message and recipients is held in the device memory until sent.
Therefore the limitation would be by available memory than an actual number.

The question does not pertain to the memory. I added in the contacts that I wanted to send in the BCC field and they were all in place when I tried to send it out. When I try to send the message it starts the send process, then fails (little red x next to message. On the message itself it says:
"Failed to send message."
then if I click on Show Details in the menu, it says:
"Too many recipients"
in the pop up dialog box.
The question at hand is "How many recipients can be sent in 1 mms message?"
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

10 is the maximum number of SMS or MMS recipients that can be on any 1 message.
I think this is terrible as my old Nextel BB 7100 was able to send up to 100 on any 1 message.
