I recently ran into a problem with my MediaCard. I noticed on Friday (day really doesn't matter, just wanted to give a time frame) that my camera pictures weren't saving. I thought nothing of it since my media card is usually quite slow. But after a few minutes, I decided to do a battery pull to see if that helped. Well, it didn't. The photo never showed up and now half of my music on the card isn't there either.
Over the weekend, I decided a format was in order. I tried to format (quick format) and the card came up with a very error saying that the disk could not be formatted. So I tried a normal format. Same message. No I'm started to get frustrated. Formatted the phone from a backup, formatted the phone and then loaded the backup separately, formatted again and only backed up my contacts. Nothing. The card is still locked.
Anyone know of a solution. The card is 32gb (4) and I really really don't want to lose it because of how pathetic the blackberry OS is.

Reece, before you do anything else, I'd suggest removing the Media Card from the BlackBerry and use an adapter to read the card on your PC. Get the FREE PC software Zero Assumption Recovery and use ZAR to extract any and all files it can from the media card.
