Memory Card cannot be accessed and Desktop Client issue

Hi there,

1. Desktop client installed on my laptop first featured all the characteristics. But on a day later, after I plugged in the phone vide the cord, the application started and everything now appears as round boxes and no texts to read on the application. I tried even after unplugging the phone and then manually starting the Desktop Client but yet it appears the same can't read any key on the Client, everything appears as round tiny boxes for each alphabet.

2. I'm moving my memory card from Nokia to this BB Curve but its giving this error. Media Card Storage can not be accessed due to fatal errors.

Please assist.

Re: Memory Card cannot be accessed and Desktop Client issue

The second problem must be due to some corrupt or unsupported Data Files on the memory Card - To get resolved with this problem you will need to format or delete those files from the Memory Card - But if you Format your Memory Card , You will lose your Data - So Do it at your own risk

I suggest this thread:

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.

I agree with the above...of course, you should use a PC/card reader to copy your data from the card before formatting it in the BB device.

Good luck!
