Memory Card

If i change the memory card in my curve 9300 from a 2 GB to a 8 or 16 GB, will it affect the performance of the phone?

Re: Memory Card

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

In general, no it should not. The Media Card is used to store files, not for any ongoing background read/write activities.

Good luck!

Re: Memory Card

Once I change my memory card, will the apps be left at the phone memory?

Yes...there is no option. To function, all apps must be installed to the protected AppMemory space. There are some tricks to archive apps to a card...so if you've used those, then whatever was in the archived stated would of course be lost.

Good luck!
