I bought the 9000 because it had 1GB of Flash plus a micro-card, so i thought i would not have memory limitations to load applications and keep my data!
Unfortunately, it looks like we are back 20 years, with a fixed allocation of 128MB for Applications and data!
On top of that, there are memory leaks, or at least circumstances when the memory is not released even though the applications are closed properly.
So, to start with (after a reboot), I have only about 20MB free, and after 2 or 3 days, it goes down to almost 0 and i need to ull the batterie, and wait the 5 minutes it takes to reboot!
Is there any hope?
Are they any tool to check/release the memory or to change the allocation. I would gladly use 512MB or even more for Applications and data, and put all the media stuff on my 8GB MicroSd
What can we do to speed-up the process of RIM fixing these?
