Message storage Options Issue!!!

I recently got the 8330 and love it but I have a question that I need some help with I noticed that the message purge option only gives me a minimum of 15 days that messages will be held until they are purged.  Is there any other way to change that to a lower number so I don't have so many messages on my phones?  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Message storage Options Issue!!!

The shortest setting for deleting messages is 15 days.  Unless your getting thousands of emails in this time frame, I dont think this well be a problem.  I've seen BB's with 3000 contacts and 2000 emails and still working fine.  If you want to get rid of them sooner, you will have to manually delete them.

Hope this info helps.

Re: Message storage Options Issue!!!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I'm afraid the 15 days is the lowest it will go.

Maybe you already know this, but you can scroll to a date bar, and menu key select delete prior. That will delete all before that date.

Hope that helps!
