Re: Messages List and Email Checking Question

Hi I need HELP.  I can not answer e-mail or text on my BB Curve, I just got  it last Wednesday.  I text and e-mail alot and this has me in a  dizzy.

I have tried the Setup Wizard and the E-mail Setup. But still have a clue why I can not return text and e-mail.  I get this message "No message servuces configured. You will be redirected ti the Setup Wizard to set up your account"

Then after going there I got this message  :No message services configured.  You will only be able to Save Draft"  HELP, please, thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

A few possibilities:

I suggest the following steps:

1) Register HRT

  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > blackberry_logo.jpg (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now

2) Resend Service Books

  • KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service

3) Batt Pull Reboot

  • Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Otherwise, this KB may have something useful.

Otherwise, I suggest contacting your carrier as it would seem something about your BIS account provisioning may be incorrect or incomplete.

Good luck!
