Missing ICON for BB Maps

My carrier is AT& T, I recently I started using BB Maps and after about 3 weeks the ICON just disappeared from my home screen, this means I cannot access the software anymore, I removed & re-installed but same difference, I then contacted AT&T , same difference, they said they cannot help, could this be their doing? how can I get back the ICON? I need to use BB Maps

Yes, it is their doing. ATT would have told you do they do not support BBMaps and while it is installed your device on ATT service, it is disabled from use.

It's easier to just use Google Maps Mobile.

From your BlackBerry, go to m.google.com and download it.
