Moving icons to home screen

My phone icon is not on the home screen and I want to move it there.  When I push the menu button, it displays the rest of the icons on the home screen.  The phone icon is not one of those.  If I press the menu button a second time, a menu pops up so I select switch application and this shows a few icons of which phone is one of them. How do I get the phone icon to the home screen from here?  Kudos to the wiz who solves this one :-)

Re: Moving icons to home screen

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Wouldn't it be simpler to just press the green phone key on the keypad, and instantly call the phone application?

Its  one touch access.

The Switch application allows you to see what applications are running on your BB.

You will always see home, browser, messages, and phone. You can press one to easily switch

between applications. That is a two tough access.

From within any application simply press the green phone key on the keyboard and instantly access the phone.

Again, one touch access.

If you still want the phone icon on the home screen locate the phone icon, mine is in the applications folder,

highlight, do not click, press menu key and select move to folder, then select home.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks,
