This app has been available for a few months in another store and has been on the bestseller list there for about a month.
If you have tried UniBrowse, then you are already familiar with this concept. Multi-click icons are intended to help reduce the icon count on your homescreen and organize related apps into single icons. You can set up to four different apps to each icon, and select which is launched by how many times you click. The icon and description change as you click (except that on older phones, only the icon changes).
On the homescreen, the icons can be set to normally show either a particular app first, or the last one you launched.
This is the initial release and works for many apps, but does not work for everything. You will find that some built-in and 3rd-party apps, and folders, can only be accessed through their regular icons, and cannot be set in the multi-click icons or will not launch from a multi-click icon. These limitations are being looked at for future updates.
UniBrowse can be installed free when you have Multi-Click Icons, to add an additional icon just for browsers, leaving one more general-purpose icon available for other uses.
If you would like icons to compose new messages, tasks, and memos, please install ComCut to add multi-click-icon compatible links to those features.
