Multi problems with my Torch 9800

Hi all,


I just woke up and found that my Torch 9800 has a lot of problems. Here are the list of messages displayed on the screen:

  • Uncaught exception: API is not active
  • Uncaught exception:java.lang.Error
  • Uncaught exception:ApplicationRegistry.wait For (0xf405d42294c6940e) timeout
  • Uncaught exception:ApplicationRegistry.wait For (0x1c26ebcd7b130582) timeout
  • Uncaught exception:ApplicationRegistry.wait For (0x7491f7b6ae80681a) timeout

And when I press ok to each message, and finally it reach to the point "App Error 603" :smileysad:


And because there is only reset option: I kept restarting it Smiley Frustrated


I tried to back up to Blackberry Device Manager and to try Support Log but my phone seems not be able to connect to the program.


I would be very gladful if someone could reply asap Smiley Sad

This issue "App Error 603" indicates the BlackBerry smartphone encountered a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) application related problem and cannot continue to operate in a normal manner.


If the BlackBerry smartphone is not connecting to the BlackBerry Desktop Software please review the following article on how to force the detection of the BlackBerry smartphone using Application Loader to reload the device software: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10144



Due to the error message "App Error 603" you may not be able to backup the BlackBerry smartphone.


If you have a previous back up file after the software reload do a selective restore of essential data (Address Book, Calendar, Task, Memos, BBM contacts etc.)

If the issue still persists, further investigation might be required. To help further diagnose the cause, contact your wireless service provider or BlackBerry Technical Support Services for further review and support.
