Mute Key Dilema

I have a BB 8320, problem is that the Mute Key at times will not activate StandBy Mode and if it does, the "Send Call", "Menu", "Back", and "End Call" keys will turn screen on if pressed. Another issue is that whenever on Stand By Mode in holster, it deactivates if I take the device out of the holster. Is there any way I can fix, change or modify these issues?

Re: Mute Key Dilema

Try a battery pull remove the battery with the phone on. Leave it out for 30 seconds and replace. Allow the phone 1-3 minutes to reboot. Try the mute key again. Do the other keys still turn the screen on? As far as the phone coming out of sleep mode when you take it out of the holster, I do not believe you can change this as you are running the phone by the magnet which is what turns it on and off.
