Re: My BB Bold 9900 randomly switches to capital letters while typing

Hello JohnnyMaan and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your device keyboard.

What's your software version listed under Options>Device>About Device Version on the 3rd line down?

Does this happen with all types of texts you type - emails? SMS? BBMs?

When the typing becomes erratic, do you notice if the aA or 123 is displayed on the top right corner?

Re: My BB Bold 9900 randomly switches to capital letters while typing

I have the same issue. In answer to the questions you posted to the previous poster, my BB is a BOLD 9900, and the third line of the device details reads "7.1 Bundle 2108 (v., platform - I've noticed it predominantly when typing emails - and, yes, the aA does come up. The other issue I have noticed is that at times, when I use the 'alt' key to type a period, I must hit the M/. key multiple times before the period appears. I appreciate your assistance
