I'm thinking this is an orange issue. They have to verify everything is provisioned correctly and the correct blackberry data plan is attached to your account. You said you put your sim into another phone and it worked. Was that phone a blackberry? You may have to take it to the store and show them this.

I wonder if vodaphone has to do sometihng to help. Have you checked with vodaphone?

Correct. I would check with vodaphone to make sure that device isn't somehow lingering on their network and after you get the all clear, get orange to send the service books. This is an issue with the carriers and you're stuck in the middle. You may have to take it to vodaphone and call orange from there and have them sort it out.
