My blackberry won't turn on! HELLLP!!!:(

HI! I had my blackberry for a year now. My battery was drained from last night. When I try to charge it, it won't turn on. There was a red light for about 5 seconds and then a battery with an X mark appeared on the screen. When I try to click the power, nothing happened. I already did the backing up thing and updating the OS before. It did help for a while because it's not rebooting automatically. But now, it's happening again and it won't turn on. I don't know if the problem is the battery or the OS. I need help!!

Hi Ghia

Thanks for the Post..!!

Please pull out battery and plug device with charger & wait for few mins, you will get a no battery sign on handheld, once you will get the no battery sign, insert battery without unplugging charger and wait fro 4 to 5 min.

Hope this will help for you, if not arrange a another working battery and try with that.

Re: My blackberry won't turn on! HELLLP!!!:(

Hi, i have a curve 9220 and my phone has the same problem. I was charging it last night at around 11pm but it was on with I thing 20-25% more battery, I woke up at around 12am an hour after, and I decided to check on it, I was shocked to see that it has a steady red led on and it won't turn on.

I decided to unplug it and remove the battery. I woke up again at 6 am and tried to bring back the battery hoping that it will work but  but still it doesn't. I plugged it again for about 20 mins then the led started lighting up for 5-15 seconds and then nothing happens next. After removing and inserting the battery, an icon appeared with a red x mark. Until now I can't turn on my blackberry. I need help please Smiley Sad I've been using my phone for 10 months now and I'm handling it with proper care. Thank you!
