My bold 9900 has stuck

Good day,

most of my files and folders in my device were hidden, and I mistakenly deleted the "home" folder, then my phone just got stuck, I restarted my phone and after that it doesn't allow me to do anything on it as it shows the screen which requires password and it doesn't allow me to punch in my password or any character. Please advice on what I should do. Thanks in advance.

Re: My bold 9900 has stuck

What "home" folder, where was this located on your 9900?

Do you have a recent backup made with your Desktop Software or have Protect installed?

Re: My bold 9900 has stuck

Try this... connect to your PC using the USB cable.

Start the Desktop Software on the PC.

Witht your 9900 on, removing the battery a minute and reinsert, and see if it connects or shows connected on the PC in the Desktop Software, or if you hear any connection alert, etc.

Re: My bold 9900 has stuck

I do hear the sounds, and it shows that blackberry desktop software cannot communicate with the connected device. But shortly after the phone has rebooted, the message disappears and I hear the sound indicating that the device has been disconnected.

Re: My bold 9900 has stuck

Would you try rebooting your PC and trying again?
