My office changed outlook email to imap, emails in subfolders not showing up on my bb bold 9700

My office switched our server and we now have to use imap for our email. I'm running Outlook 2007.  When we used pop 3 I had no trouble setting up rules for my incoming emails. I would receive them all on my BB Bold 9700. Now with imap, if I set up a rule for my incoming email to go into a subfoler, I'm not receiving it on my BB. Anyone know why or what I can do to fix this?
