My phone freezes - nothing works

Hi All,

 

Having serious issues with my Curve lately. It started freezing occasionally so I would do as the forums said and take out the battery which would solve it for a while. 

 

Now, however, even when I do that and turn it back on the phone instantly freezes with messages coming through but the little timer is just constantly turning in the centre of the screen. 

 

What can I do????

I had a curve with similar issues.  I started off by removing apps I rarely used or need.  I would start with this first.  If you don't have anything to uninstall or don't see any improvement in performance, I suggest a software reload.

If you decide to go this route, please back up your data using the desktop manager. 

Another option is to have the local store do this for you.

I highly recommend to use blackberry protect if you haven't done so already.  The link is in my signature.  When dealing with software reloads, i just like having my stuff backed up because this is a major change being applied to your phone.  Please keep us posted, we are here to help!
