My ringtone profile does not work

I change my ringtone profile setting to different profile, none of them works,

 

Is there any 800 number I can call to talk to the tech support?

Only selecting the profile will not ensure ringing tone. Check the following -

Go to Profiles -> Advanced -> click Menu -> Edit -> Phone -> Out of Holster: Tone, Tune: select the desired tune, Volume: High/Medium/Low

I guess this will help you out.

Under Profiles, do you see

It could be that your profiles database is corrupt. **Note : this will delete ALL profiles on your BlackBerry

To delete the profile database you will need the following:

 

1. A PC

2. Desktop Manager (probably v.4.2.2)

3. Your USB Cable

 

Assuming that you have the Desktop Manger installed

and the device has been successfully recognized you

will be:

 

A. Clicking the Backup/Restore button

B. Clicking the Advanced Button

C. From the collumn on the right (Device Databases) choose Profiles

D. Hit "CLEAR" at the bottom

E. Rebuild your profile as you would normally and test.

I try this way, clear the profile and re-setting the profile, still not work.

 

I receive email, but no vibrate, no sound.

When you go in, are you selecting the profile that is active? Like normal-active?

Hi Laccura, and welcome to the forums!

Before reloading the OS.

 

Try two things;

Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute,

let the device reboot 1-3 min, See if it resolves the problem.

 

If not go to OPTIONS =ADVANCED OPTIONS - HOST ROUTING TABLES press the menu key and select REGITER NOW,

You will get a verification email,
