Re: MyHandset Not working

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness shows up, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

  • With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.

See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Good luck!

Re: MyHandset Not working

OK, thanks. So now that you've revealed one thing you've previously tried, and resulted in my wasting your time with redundant advice, is there anything else that you've already tried? I'd like to avoid wasting even more of your time...please be very detailed about ALL that you've already tried along with the SPECIFIC results of each attempt.

Thanks.

Hmmm...I can only wonder, not even guess, as to what "that test" actually means...
