Need Help!!!!!!

My Blackberry Torch's battery is draining extremely fast. It is giving a back up of less than 24 hours. Just seven months old. I have checked, nothing is running in background and kept the phone at optimum performance levels.

Any help......?

Re: Need Help!!!!!!

Have you recently joined any BBM groups? In my experience, BBM groups significantly reduce your battery life.

Re: Need Help!!!!!!

Ok.

Some applications continuously run even though they don't show in the app switcher; have you installed any new apps recently?

Re: Need Help!!!!!!

It's possible the battery has gone bad; they only last so long unfortunately before the performance rapidly degrades.

Your BB should still be under warranty (1 year) so talk to your carrier about a replacement battery.
