Need to link BB Curve 8310 with Microsoft Outlook 8310

I am brand new to the Blackberry world! I just purchased a Blackberry Curve 8310 through AT&T and have the BIS service. How can I link my Blackberry with my Microsoft Outlook 2007 on my personal computer (Windows Vista)? Is it possible to link my BB with Outlook email and calendar without BES? Will the email and calendar snyc throughout the day without being connected to my laptop?

Do you have a setup wizard or blackberry setup icon on the main screen of the device? If so there's an Email Setup section in there where you can input your mail server information and username/password to setup your email

Re: Need to link BB Curve 8310 with Microsoft Outlook 8310

I have input information in the set-up and am now at the "Configure your Outlook email account" I have email through Roadrunner that feeds into my Outlook 2007. It asks me for my Outlook Web Access URL and I am unsure what to put? Where can I find this URL and the mailbox name?

I currently use OUtlook 2007 to view my Roadrunner email on my computer. The Account Type is POP3, Incoming mail server: pop-server.nc.rr.com and Outgoing mail server: smtp-server.nc.rr.com

That whould be what you would use to set up on BIS. For me, it's easier to go to your BIS website and do it on the pc.

Do you know where your carriers BIS site is?

I was finally able to get the BIS account reset and set-up today. How can I find the email server address?
