Network Logo

Hi, my friend gave me his blackberry curve 9300 which used to be on contract with vigin media. I since got it unlocked but the virgin media logo shows up every time I start/shut down my phone. How do I remove the logo?

Re: Network Logo

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Short answer -- you cannot.

At time of manufacture, each BB is made for a specific carrier. Some carriers have RIM place their "splash screen" onto the device. But, properly unlocked, the BB can still be used on other carriers -- but that splash screen cannot be changed.

Good luck!
