New BBM doesn't work

The new update for bbm doesn't work on my backberry curve 9320. It just says that its setting up bbm then goes to a blue screen and then stays there.

Can you please try removing and reinserting your battery and retrying the setup for BBM? If that doesn't help, could you please try to uninstall BBM then reinstall it from BlackBerry World and let me know if that helps?

I tried this, I removed the battery, and uninstalled then reinstalled the bbm app and it still goes to the blue screen, any other ideas as to what could be the problem?
