New BBM6

I was just curious to know whether restored, deleted contacts still have a display icon visible? I know with previous versions of BBM, even if a contact had been deleted, upon restore, I would be able to see their icon.

Re: New BBM6

I'm not sure what was happening on your device, but on pre-BBM6 version, once deleted, the contact was gone. I don't know why they didn't delete for you.

So the v6 works like the v5 as far as deleting contacts.

But you have some other problem.

Re: New BBM6

I don't think I was clear about my question, sorry.
If I delete a contact, and the contact has been on a previous backup, upon restore, the contact still appears on my contact list. However, upon messaging the contact, I do get alerted, the contact needs to be re-invited.

Because of a previous backup, when restored, I can always see a new display icon for the deleted contact (I suppose it syncs with the restore).

Do you know why this happens?

Re: New BBM6

ok, explained that way, with the restore, that is normal.

You're restoring that contact to your BBM.
