New carrier that doesnt support bis, what to do?

Always used blackberry but now when i got a new job they gave me a samsung with a carrier that doesnt support blackberry, i have a bold 9900. Is the only solution to wait for the q10 or is it possible to update to bb10 and use without BIS but still access email.

What carrier?

Yes, you should be able to use the Z10 on the carrier and you ONLY need a plain old general Data Plan, not a BIS plan.

The bold 9900 cannot be updated to BB10 and cannot be used for data services without a BIS subscription.

If you want to stay with blackberry, buy a Z10 or a Q10
