New number

My friend lent me his blackberry bold 9650 to use temporarily. I tried using my personal SIM card, but the phone lists my friend's number as the sole account on the phone. My SIM is Verizon and I'm sure it works, as does the phone, but calls can't go through and I don't know the blackberry operating system well enough toadjust it for a new card. The phone's memory is cleared too, since I thought that could work.

any suggestions?

Re: New number

That's because the sim card in a Verizon phone does nothing in the US. The sim is for use in international roaming only. You can't just swap sims on a Verizon phone. You have to contact Verizon to do the switch.
