New to Blackberry

I was recently given a Blackberry 8700c when I cracked my LG enVU screen and couldn't use it anymore. I've never used a Blackberry product before. When I tried to put my Micro SD card in it I quickly found that it would not fit. Is there a card smaller than a Micro SD? I thought it was the smallest. Or is there a special card that only fit the blackberry 8700c?

Re: New to Blackberry

Nothing special. Micro SD is Micro SD. I suspect that your old card may be mini SD -- assuming that by, "it would not fit", you meant that the card was larger than the BB slot.

Re: New to Blackberry

I took another look and I do have the Micro SD card. When I opened the 8700 BB again the spot that I thought was for the card was actually not a card slot at all. I think that this model may not have a slot for expanded memory or if there is I can't find it.

Re: New to Blackberry

I suppose that's possible. You can always check the user manual here:

Good luck!

Re: New to Blackberry

As far as I know and on my experience 8700 devices do not support external memory cards at all.

8800 device does, but 8700 does not.
