Newbie request.......8310

For how to open attachments ?

When in a message with an attachment, the menu does not give an option of "open attachment" or similar

I'm sure this is easy for someone !

Thanks in advance

WelcSmiley Happyme to the FSmiley Happyrums!

I am using BIS and this is what I do.  When you get an attachment, click your track ball, then scroll down to "open attachment" or "download attachment"

I believe that the Attachment Service has to be enabled on BES - and I am not familiar with the BES so someone else can help if you use this.

Here is a link for troubleshooting.

Hope this helps!

Re: Newbie request.......8310

Look at Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.4.xxx"

What is your OS verions installed?

PDF's will open from the BB. Most will, some "flavors" of PDF will not. There are no real good free PDF readers for the BB.

You can try out BeamBerry, Repligo and if you OS 4.5, the premium features of DocumentsToGO has a good PDF reader.
