Re: No Caller ID when I get a call?

I want to give you second Kudos as I still have more questions:

Any way I could turn this thing off?

It's troublesome when you travel different countries, isn't it?

Any idea where to post feedback & suggestions?

You may add kudos to any post you want to.

You want to turn off the BlackBerry?

Press and hold the red end call key.

Re: No Caller ID when I get a call?

I am a new Blackberry user, came from a Palm smartphone I had been using for 5 plus years.  I now have a 9800 Torch and had it since the begining of December 2010.

After importing the phone numbers/adresses in to Outlook 2007 then wirelessly to my phone, I finally got them all in the Torch device.

Seems the caller identiy does not come up.  It will display the number but you have to know the number to know who is calling.  After the phone call is complete it will show the name and number in the call log.

These numbers are in my contacts in the following format.  (xxx) xxx-xxxx

I have looked at all the Smart dialing settings and have my area code and +1 for USA .

Any ideas why this is happening.  I am fairly pleased with the new Torch and it's features...I need a fix for this...it is rather irritating to me.  Even the GO phone will tell you who is calling if you have that number in your phone.

I have software version. 6.0 bundle 695

Any help will be appreciated.
