No HTML email on Storm

I have the Storm and it does not display the email in html format.  I have the bps server as listed below.  can anyone tell me how to get html email displayed as html vs lots of unusable text?

Thanks in advance

Re: No HTML email on Storm

The current release of BPS does not support HTML email.  There are other posts that suggest that there will be an update to BPS in the new year, and that will contain the HTML support.  But I haven't yet seen an official notice from RIM describing a new service pack or version.

The current release of BES does support HTML email.

I get the HTML e-mail but the images do not load unless I press the BB Menu key and then select "Get Images". You have to do this for every e-mail you get.

It doesn't matter that setting are correct. The setting for this are located at: open e-mail folder-BB Menu button-Option-E-Mail Settings- Enable HTML Email select Yes and Download Images Automatically select Yes.

I have been told by Verizon and BB support that this will be fixed in an update.

(Note: I am using BIS. Not Enterprise or Exchange server.)

Re: No HTML email on Storm

I should mention that the get images option is "not an OPTION"
