No ringtones / message tones after switching profiles

I think I may have discovered a bug with the Blackberry Bold.


I've had the device for a few days and very happy with it. I am in the UK and on an Orange contract.


One thing I have noticed is that if you switch from the Quiet Profile to the Normal Profile, all ring tones and message alerts do not play. I have checked the normal profile to ensure that Tone or 'Vibrate + Tone' is set and it works normally until I switch to the quiet profile at night.


Steps to reproduce:

Send an email to my blackberry.

Device Vibrates, new email ring tone plays, red LED flashes

Switch to Quiet

Switch to Normal

Send an email to my blackberry

Device Vibrates, red LED flashes.


I can reproduce this each and every time. The only way to get ring tones back is to switch the phone off and then on again at which point the device starts playing tones again.
