Not able to configure e-mail

Hi All, 


My name is Badrish, I recently purchased Blackberry Bold 9930 from e-bay. I have issue in configuring the mail account. Whenever I try to configure the account I get message “Please register your phone”. Please advice for the above issue.


Note: It’s Verizon unlocked phone.

first try those steps in the same sequence :


1- Register your Handheld .

  • KB00510 : How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
  • Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.

2- Resend your Service Book

  • KB02830 : Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • ( Wait till a Registration Message comes in your message box for each email that you have configured on your device )

3-  Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back

Hi Thanks for the reply. 


When i go into the Host Routing Table, Under that i see so many as "GPRS IN (404) [40400130]" and Wi-Fi [60]. If i select register. THen i get message Registration message sent. I check in my phone there is a message. Your Handheld has been registered with the wireless network. But no sign of my e-mail getting started. 


Please advice.
